1982 Palmetto Bay Marina: In 1982 a partnership with Taz Anderson, Fletcher Bright and Kim King was formed for a venture in Hilton Head Island, SC. The development team was truly ahead of the times as the master plan, a village concept, for Palmetto Bay consisted of over 25 acres of living, recreational and commercial facilities; the mixed-use development of the 80s. Palmetto Bay Marina, was one of the largest re-developments in Hilton Head in the mid-1980s. After all phases of construction were completed; a 175 boat marina, over 10,000 square feet of retail space and 300 condominium units were included in the Palmetto Bay development. The property was sold in 1999 to Brighton Bay Associates.
